ProofPack Launch: eBay Seller Protection Before the Return

ProofPack is live. It snapshots eBay listing evidence, keeps the facts attached to the item, and generates a case packet when a buyer says the item was not as described. As of September 2026 it is included free with every FlowLister plan.

This matters because most seller-protection work starts after the stressful part has already begun. A buyer opens a return. The seller tries to remember what the listing said. Photos may be scattered. Condition notes may have been edited, copied, or buried in the listing history. ProofPack moves that work earlier: protect the listing while the listing is fresh.

Why eBay sellers need evidence before a buyer claim

eBay's seller protection pages talk about false item-not-as-described claims, returns where the item comes back used or damaged, abusive buying activity, and the importance of reporting issues clearly. eBay also explains that Money Back Guarantee cases can turn on whether an item did not match the listing.

That means the listing itself is evidence. The title, description, item specifics, condition notes, return policy, photos, and timestamps are not just selling copy. They are the seller's best record of what was represented before the transaction.

ProofPack does not replace eBay's policies. It does not promise a case result. It gives sellers a cleaner packet of facts to use when they need to respond, report a buyer, compare a claim against the listing, or keep their own records straight.

What ProofPack does

ProofPack has two pieces: an evidence vault and a packet generator. The vault imports listing evidence from FlowLister and stores a timestamped snapshot. The packet generator takes a buyer claim and turns the saved evidence into a structured seller packet.

ProofPack pricing

ProofPack launched in June 2026 as a paid add-on. As of September 18, 2026 it is included free with every FlowLister plan at the former Store-tier limits: 5,000 protected listings and 100 case packets per month. Existing Solo or Store subscribers keep access; new users are not asked to buy a ProofPack add-on.

Who ProofPack is for

The most obvious fit is any seller whose inventory depends on condition. Used electronics, vintage decor, clothing, shoes, handbags, collectibles, toys, open-box items, estate-sale goods, and one-off parts all have the same problem: a buyer claim can become a debate over small details.

If you sell hundreds of identical new items, ProofPack may not be urgent. If every listing has its own flaws, photos, measurements, specifics, and condition notes, ProofPack gives you a cleaner record before anything gets emotional.

How to use it today

1. Open Protection in your FlowLister dashboard.
2. Click Import FlowLister to snapshot recent listing evidence.
3. Choose the protected item when a buyer claim arrives.
4. Paste the buyer claim exactly enough for context.
5. Generate the packet, then download the HTML/PDF or copy the seller response.

What ProofPack is not

ProofPack is not legal advice. It is not an eBay guarantee. It does not decide whether a seller should accept a return, deduct from a refund, report a buyer, or ask eBay to step in. Those choices still depend on the seller's facts, eBay policy, category rules, timing, account status, and the actual returned item.

The job of ProofPack is narrower and more practical: organize the facts before they get lost.
