Cheap items sell slowest on eBay
eBay listings under $15 sold within 30 days 8.6% of the time. Listings at $100 to $249.99 sold 27.6% of the time. Data from 33,638 listings by FlowLister sellers.

What the data shows
- Listings under $15 sold within 30 days 8.6% of the time. $100 to $249.99 listings sold 27.6% of the time.
- Sell-through climbed with every price step up to $250, then eased to 23.8% above $250.
- New with tags sold faster than used: 22.3% vs 11.4% within 30 days.
- This is a pattern, not a rule, and it does not show that raising a price sells an item faster. Our read: pricier items tend to be branded, specific and searched by model number, while cheap items compete with a lot of near-identical listings.
How we measured
Same numbers as the FlowLister eBay Listing Data Study 2026: eBay listings created with FlowLister and first published May 15 to September 15, 2026 (33,638 listings from 242 FlowLister sellers), measured October 15, 2026, so every listing had at least 30 days on eBay. Multi-unit listings and sales recorded before publishing are excluded, as in the study. Price is the listing's price. Sold means eBay reported a sale within 30 days of publishing. Every price band has at least 70 sellers and no seller over 29.8% of a band.
