How long it takes to sell on eBay
5.8% of eBay listings sold within a week and 12.2% within 30 days. Median days to sale, among sales within 30 days: 7.5. Data: 33,638 listings by FlowLister sellers.

What the data shows
- 12.2% of listings sold within 30 days. 47.9% of those went in the first 7 days, so 5.8% of all listings sold within a week.
- Median days to sale, among sales within 30 days: 7.5. 16.3% of those sales came within a day of listing.
- Category matters. Among sales within 30 days, video games and movies took a median 3.2 days and cameras 3.7. Business & Industrial took 9.9 and sports memorabilia, cards and fan shop 9.1.
- Seven out of eight listings were still waiting at day 30. The median above only describes the ones that sold.
How we measured
Same numbers as the FlowLister eBay Listing Data Study 2026: eBay listings created with FlowLister and first published May 15 to September 15, 2026 (33,638 listings from 242 FlowLister sellers), measured October 15, 2026, so every listing had at least 30 days on eBay. Multi-unit listings and sales recorded before publishing are excluded, as in the study. One square stands for 1% of listings, rounded. The median counts only sales within 30 days of publishing, so it is not the typical wait for every listing.
